and how would u test for lumps? cuz i think i feel abnormal bumps…. and im scared cuz it runs in my family ilke every girl on my dad side has had it!

You have a 99.9% chance of NOT having breast cancer. “Abnormal” bumps can occur (and are normal) in females during puberty, which, considering your age, I would say is the cause.

Having lumps is a part of puberty. I’d still go check with a doctor, but it might be something about you growing up. Ask you mother or doctor for some tips. Hope I helped. =]
It is possible, but unlikely. Most likely, what you are feeling is changes in your breasts from puberty and a growth spurt.
Tenderness, uneven size, etc is normal…when doing a breast exam, you should lightly squeeze the nipples and be concerned if any liquid comes from such.

it probley nothing. your not done developing yet, but if it runs so strongly in you family when you are old enough you should get a mamagram every 6 months. if you supper concerned ask you parents to take you to the doc.
i dont think is possible so far i have not heard something like that so dont worry when really get it is when your mom has it or if your family died out of that but you still young because you normally get it at the age of 30-40….
Well, I’m no doc, but I think anything is possible. If you have something unusual or a concern or whatnot, just go to your doctor and ask him about it. You can recommend a girl doctor if you’re uncomfortable with a male doctor.
It is a good idea to get it checked out, since it runs in your family, even though you are thirteen. Some lumps are normal though, just might be muscle or something hormonal.
A lot of the times when women know they are at a higher risk for breast cancer than others, they usually get the tissue removed and sometimes simple get their natural breast up size with implants. I’m not advising you to do this now, at your age, but I guess it’s something to think about and talk to your doctor about for in your future.

Who says that they are “abnormal”? I had a lump in my chest when I was your age. I freaked out too. But the doctor said it was normal and would go away. It did. I would strongly encourage you to tell your mom and have her take you to the doctor. It is probably nothing. Don’t worry. Just get it checked.
