Could breast tumor and thyroid tumor be linked to one another?
About 3 weeks ago, my ob. had found a tumor in my breast and one on my thyroid. (the reason she checked my thyroid was because I told her I was having difficulty swallowing). I have to see a different doctor on the 19th of April about my thyroid tumor. Of course I am scared that one or both the tumors are cancer because I have a family history of cancer running in the family, like throat cancer for instance. My concern is if the 2 tumors could be linked? Has anyone heard of having a tumor in the throat and breast or anything similar? I’ve tried doing research on this but could not find anything related. I know that cancer can spread but is this ironic or not? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
Is there another way to stop this BRCA gene Breast Cancer preventative surgery, another procedure anywhere?
Is there another way to stop this BRCA gene Breast Cancer Preventative surgery I have to get in February, by using any other methods? It seems I have no choice. I have to remove breasts or risk high rate of catching Breast Cancer if I don’t have it already lurking in my boobs thanks to BRCA gene positive I carry, as well as most of my family whom have all gotten this “lifesaving” procedure, but they won’t discuss it with me, and don’t want to help, and my adorable doctor of 21 years DUMPED me for this gene thing issue, I KNOW HE DID! So is there another way to get around this surgery? Is my doctor the only one doing this thing, what about City of Hope or some other famous doctor? Are there other ways to stop the Cancer or slow it? HELP!

Another question about breast cancer?
I already asked a question about breast cancer,
but now I have another one.
In case you didnt see my first question,
im a 14 year old girl, & my mom recently passed away from breast cancer.
my mom’s mom (my grandma) also had cancer, but i dont know if it was breast cancer.
my grandpa (on my dad’s side) had cancer, also.
so, my question is, is cancer hereditary, & am i going to get it?
i was thinking about this, & im starting to get scared.
Another question for breast cancer survivors?
Now that my surgery is behind me, I am facing radiation and possibly chemo. I’ll know more from my doctors next week. I will ask my docs these questions, but until then — my question is for those who have or are facing radiation – please tell me your experiences, good or bad. I’m trying to get my research and questions done this weekend.
Thanks, YA community for your help.
