My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer, stage III, but…
the doctor said her tumor was not metastatic, and defined the size as 7×5 centimeters. What troubles me a little bit is that he had my mom’s mammogram, biopsy, ultrasound and blood test, BUT NO CHEST X-RAY, which I believe is the most important item to diagnose metastasis. Is this OK? Can you classify a tumor as non-metastatic without a chest x-ray?

I have swelling in my armpit and down about 5 inches from my armpit its like a thick painful swelling.I have pain in my left breast on the left side of it but the pain and swelling is in my armpit down hurts more.i have had a mamagram 3 years ago and it some what hurt then but it was normal.i dont know what to do next, im 48 on HRT and scared.my doctor just closed his practice.does breast cancer hurt and swell in this area?thank you for any info…
