Dr. Denise Barajas, director of the Women’s Center for Breast Health at the Hospital of Saint Raphael explains what the accreditation status means for the hospital. Passing 27 rigorous standards, the hospital’s program offers an individualized plan for each patient diagnosed with breast cancer and includes the services of a patient navigator, integrative wellness programs (such as Yoga and Reiki), and a team approach to the best options for each patient.
