What is the youngest age you can have breast cancer?
I’m still developing breasts, but there’s this lump in one of my breasts and I’m really worried. I’m 12 years old. What could it be??? Help!!!

It might be a benign lump in your breast, in other words nothing to worry about. But in any case, you should get it checked by a doctor just to make sure. If it’s anything, it’s better to have to found early and treated than leave it and have it get worse.
well even though imma guy im going through puberty and both my man boobs are hurting wen i touch dem even my sister and on my man tits i have like two little lumps on both
Calm down, you have no need to worry. This is just a benign problem caused by all the hormones in your body. Even guys have this problem, except its called gynecomastia. You don’t have to worry about breast cancer for a while, this sounds perfectly healthy and normal.
We answer this question quite often. Age 22 is the youngest I have heard of for a woman with breast cancer, but nothing is impossible where malignancies are concerned. For a 12 year old, breast cancer risk might be less than your risk of being hit with lightning, but we cannot diagnose over the internet.
This was my answer to the same question a week ago.:
The American Cancer Society (ACS) recommends that all women 20 years of age or older should perform monthly breast self-examinations.
http://www.webmd.com/breast-cancer/guide... “Only 5% of all breast cancer cases occur in women under 40 years old.”
I have never seen a women below age 25 with breast cancer, but the case report below involves a 22 year old woman.
From http://theoncologist.alphamedpress.org/c...
“Breast cancer is quite rare in very young women. It is a disease primarily of older women, with 75% of cases occurring in women over 50 years of age. Only 6.5% of cases occur in women under 40 years of age, and a mere 0.6% of cases in women under 30 years of age. Thus, in the U.S., only about 1,200 cases of breast cancer occur in women under 30 years of age each year.”
