What might cause this?
My doctor’s are baffled. I’m 23 and the entire origin of my female organs (vagina, cervix, uterus, philopian tubes, ovaries, etc.) are swollen?! and Painful?! I have the beginnings of Cervical Cancer which was caused by 2 forms of HPV. I also have PCOS and don’t have a normal cycle in fact I typically don’t menstruate but once or twice a year. Also, I have some large lumps in my breasts that are tender and sore as well as my nipples will not stop sticking straight out!! (not normal for me) What might cause all of these symptoms?? Also I’m taking clomid a fertility drug so that my husband and I might be able to have a child. Symptoms have started 1 and 1/2 months after starting this medication. 3 weeks age. I’m scheduled for a laproscopy and a endoscopy on tuesday of next week to see what might be causing this. Any thoughts on what it might be??
They are doing an exploritory surgery on Tuesday to see what it is. My HPV is NOT dormant it never has been. I got it 3 years ago. I’ve already had 1 operation to remove most of my cervix.
mammo is tommorow with an ultrasound. This is the 4th doctor I’ve been to, hence “doctors are baffled” We are trying for a baby now due to the cancer is cured in one way and one way only for me by removing it. I’ve had cancer before I don’t react well to radiation nor chemo.
My body can’t tolerate it.

are you pregnant?…sounds like it to me…do a test.
HPV + fertility drugs cause extreme problems, it’s like your giving a ‘GO !’ command to a disease that has been weak or dormant
Just keep getting opinions from ob/gyns, don’t go with the first. I have been researching my own problems, hormone imbalances, glands that send messages to produce too much of this or too little of that hormone and it certainly sounds related to the medication.
Have you talked to the pharmacist? They often know more about the side effects and risks than the doctor who prescribed the medicine. Keep asking.
You’re saying you have the beginning of cervical cancer and now you want to get pregnant? I’m sorry, but don’t you want to get rid of the cancer first because you can’t have chemo or radiation while you are pregnant. Your fetus will not survive. Why the endoscopy, that’s for the stomach and upper GI. Have you been told that you definitely have the beginnings of cervical cancer? Is the Lap surgery for your fallopian tubes and ovaries? I’m sorry, but I’m really baffled by so many symptoms. As far as the lumps in your breast, did your doctor order a mammo. It doesn’t matter that you are only 23, if you have lumps, you have to tell your MD you want an mamo to see if you have breast cancer. I know. I just had a bi-lateral mastectomy last Friday. Don’t wait, Just wait on the baby.
